Die Auswirkungen auf das organisationale Lernen wurden auf Basis ausgewählter Studien zur Wirksamkeit von pferdegestütztem Coaching und Training in Bezug auf die Mitarbeitenden durch Ableitungen erarbeitet. Es zeigte sich, dass sich die Arbeit mit den Pferden nicht nur auf die Teilnehmenden positiv auswirkt, sondern auch das organisationale Lernen gefördert werden kann.
The qualifications and the motivation of the employees are key factors for success, but great executives are equally important, because they can achieve a significant competitive advantage. However, the requirements on the employees have changed as a result of the dynamic developments in the business world, which means that appropriate human resource development measures need to be provided. In addition to the expert knowledge, other competences that are not necessarily related to their field of work, social and personal competences are of equal importance, which is why the range of human resource development needs to be adapted. There is an urgent need for innovative methods to achieve sustainable change. Regarding this, coaching and training with horses is suitable, because the animals are excellent in sending and interpreting communication through body language, and the animals can trigger certain emotions, which can result in profound realizations in the employees. This builds the groundwork for this masters thesis question, as to what the possible applications for horse-assisted coaching and training concerning the entrepreneurial context are, and what an impact they have on organizational learning. In the course of a literature review, numerous areas of application for horse-assisted human resource development could be recorded, which can be done in teams or groups, as well as individual settings. In addition to that, horse-assisted health management was introduced and an excursus was added, which, if appropriate, addresses areas of application, that can be modified to suit the needs of each particular company. The impact on organizational learning has been developed based on and derived from carefully selected studies on the effectiveness of horse-assisted coaching and training concerning the employees. As it turned out, working with horses did not only affect the participants positively, but also promoted organizational learning.
